Wincor Nixdorf International GMBH expects to overtake NCR Corp. as the largest seller of ATM's to European banks, Andreas Bruck, a Wincor Nixdorf spokesperson told ATM & Debit News this week.''It has been our target for five years, and each year we have minimized the gap between us and NCR,'' Bruck says. ''We will be No. 1 in Europe.'' An ATM Industry observer agrees that Paderborn, Germany-based Wincor Nixdorf has in the last six to eight years closed the gap with NCR in ATM shipments to banks in Europe, but NCR leads by a large margin in the number of ATM's it has already installed there...
